A few years ago I had a dream that The Monkees had got back together (yes, including Mike Nesmith!), but Morrissey was now their lead singer. I was watching MTV (in the dream), and they were playing The Monkees' new video on there. It featured the band driving around American shopping mall parking lots in a sparkly/metallic Mini, being generally "wacky" for the benefit of bemused shoppers. Morrissey was standing on top of the car, dancing in the way that only he can, including waving around a bunch of Gladioli and writhing.
Anyway, the song they were singing in the video was this song. Quite weird really, as the song sounds nothing at all like either The Monkees OR Morrissey, and a lot like The Raspberries and Queen..
